I'm looking forward to meeting and getting to know all of you. I love teaching math and I strive to make it fun to learn in my classroom. I'm very excited as, not only am I in a new classroom, but we have new technology in the classroom as well. This year you will get to learn and experience math on a "Mimio" board. It is very similar to the "Smart or Promethean Board". It's going to make learning so much fun. I'm so excited to get to share this with you.
Agenda Planners are a very important part of your day. I insist that you have and use yours. It's an excellent way to keep yourself organized and to remember all homework assignments you need to complete each night.
Each day when you enter the classroom, I have posted a "Daily Routine" that you will follow. This routine is in place so that we use every minute of our time together effectively.
Homework assignments are posted on my website on Monday of each week. It is labeled "Weekly Assignments". Any time I change assignments in class, they will be changed on my website as well. Look for the word "Updated" with the date next to it and this means a change in plans has occurred.
We will be going over the syllabus in class together, but there is also a PDF copy below for all parents to view as well. Only a signature sheet will be sent home for both parents and students to sign. Please return to school the next day.
